OK the past few days were spent downloading software and adjusting settings on my brother’s new computer.  Yesterday I didn’t even get to leave the house.

He insisted on his card game demo, that I forgot was on the board game CD I gave him.  That made him happy.  He likes playing against the talking bear.

Tomorrow (Monday) I plan to run around to a few stores, the go over Don’s house to pack a couple of boxes of books and go out to dinner with him and Janice.

He had plumbing problems again and the bottom of two of the boxes got ‘scuzzy’.  I don’t know what that means, but it can’t be good for the books.  I have to start getting stuff out of there anyway.  8 years is long enough to be in storage.

My brother and I hit the Chinese buffet for dinner, then came home to install the speakers on his system.

I will mess around a bit longer with it before I put this puppy to bed but at least he is up and running, with an OS that if he calls me up with a question I won’t be scratching my head trying to remember how to solve this problem from an OS that’s 10 years old.
