Again, life happens.

  • Mood: In pain.
  • Weather: I am up before the sun & it is beautiful.
As you know, I have been battling shoulder pain for quite some time now.  Massage therapy has helped for the day, but the pain returns, and I mean pain.  It always punches through my horse pain pills.

So, it was down to the local imaging center.  MRI, X-rays and a bone scan took up my entire afternoon. I was on every machine in the facility except the Mammogram and sonogram.  The tech even gave me a carnation on my way out, usually reserved for the mammo gals, but she thought I deserved it.

The results came back. The good news is most is normal.  The bad news is, there is a white spot on the bone (I’ve been saying it feels like there is something in there).

I am thinking bone spur. The first doctor I spoke to is in a panic. Well, whatever it is it has to go.  I have an appointment with my primary, but I need an orthopedic surgeon.  I will call Monday and see if I can circumvent the usual “Yep, you need an orthopedic surgeon.”
