There I was working at the computer when I hear a scratching at the storm door.  “Hmmm must be my outside cat wanting a midday snack”.  Fill a bowel with dry cat foot and open the door.  No sign of the cat.  “Huh?”  Out the door I go with the bowel.

No cat, but what do I see along side my house? A leather back lake turtle.  I suppose the turtle thought that this was a stupid place to put a house.  I say her because these turtles like to dig ankle breaking holes in my yard, front and back.  They don’t lay eggs.  Just dig holes.  I would not be surprised if they were keeping score at their lake bottom as to how many of these two legged mammals managed to get caught in their traps.  If I see one with human shaped “kill silhouettes” on it’s shell, I will move.
